So what religion would you be if you had been born in Iraq?
Betsy, you're losing all credibility. Some would be Muslim but what's your point? How does that prove there is no God?

the november 1st public wt has an article on "do you need to learn hebrew and greek?
" funny is it not that they feel we do not need too.
anywho on page 21 of said wt.
One huge thing why can we not know Greek of Hebrew? Are they afraid of the rank and file learning that they are misrepresenting the truth. And what about all the WT and Awakes on leaning a new language to help the foreign fields.
You hit the nail on the head. Get a copy of Strong and Vines and it obliterates their theology. What they fail to mention is that other Hebrew and Greek Bible scholars ARE experts and HAVE studied it for 2,000 years so they are right you don't need to learn H and G. Just use the existing knowledge of the experts, true experts in the field. They are insane. Don't read the dictionary? That is what they are saying. You should definately read the dictionary and anything else you can get your hands on. There are experts going back 2,000 years who lend their weight and authority to the Christian cause. Books that reach from here to Toledo.

Your silence is far more eloquent than your testimony.
Maybe you could restate your question for us. I've already forgotten.

Do you think the bad guy sent them to my door? Can you give me any scriptures that show this as a possibility as I can't think of any myself.
Didn't Satan enter Judas and send him to the Pharisees? We know demons possess human beings (Mt. 8:29). Acts 19:13-16. Remember, Satan is an angel of light and his ministers transform themselves into ministers of righteousness. 2 Cor 10:14,15.

Notwithstanding that the existence of Jesus is without evidence and therefore mythical, but yes - you can make a reasonable argument for the belief system known as Christianity to be essentially Pauline in nature.
You believe Paul existed but not Jesus? Is that part of your reasonable argument? If you believe Paul existed, and he believed in Christ, why would you not believe Christ also existed?
Yes - him and the rest of the human race are born atheists.
How can a newborn infant have any belief system at all, and how do you prove that? Adam was born an atheist? How did prehistoric man, if there is such a thing and/or however that might be defined, start to believe in a higher being if there was no one there to teach him about that superior being? I'm talking about the first one, the one left to his own devices.

he (paul) effectively converted to the religion he started
Paul started Christianity? Didn't Jesus Christ and the 12 have something to do with that?
Paul was a cult leader, and that entailed a conversion. Much like CT Russell and other cult leaders - they weren't born that way - left to their own devices they would have been atheists ;-)
Are you saying that the Pharisee Paul, the good Jew, would have been an atheist if left to his own devices?

Say what? Come on, man. Get real. All you atheists have something deep and dark to hide, something you're embarrassed of. That's why you won't come to the light. For that reason alone the JWs are better than you, the good ones. And there really are some good ones in there, fine decent people, not hateful like the atheists and God-haters. Of course they can turn on a dime and allow themselves to believe in lies, but many are really nice good decent people with high moral standards. Fact.

So you see no correlation between country of birth and religious outcome?
I never said that if you read my post carefully. Of course there is a correlation. It's just not cast in concrete. Even at three percent your premise is wrong. You might have worded your sentence more carefully, but even that lends itself to problems, for you.
I responded to an absolute statement of yours that "It doesn't define your religion." That's not true. It can, but it isn't a necessary consequence. Nowhere does Scripture say that ALL of a particular false faith would convert. Only few are chosen.
As for specifics, large swaths of the pagan world underwent conversion to Christianity. What were Muslims before they became Muslims? You want to look at it over a span of time as well.
